Fine art and crafts have always been a foundational part of my life - whether throwing clay as a ceramicist earlier in my life (pre-kids!), attending craft shows all around the country with my husband, or re-engaging with my creative side after my children were grown up. Having the ability to explore and create a variety of crafts is a meditative and constructively enriching process for me. My pieces are all textural experiments with tactile materials, prompting a physical art-making experience that I greatly enjoy. I constantly seek to expand my palette of materials, processes and formats, often by learning from others - never knowing where the next piece will take me is incredibly exciting.
